im-rich.lol is a list of people ordered by how much money they were willing to hand over to be higher on a list of people. That is not a simplification. That is the product, described completely.
You pick a link, you pick a number, you pay the number. The board sorts itself. Somebody eventually pays a larger number and you slide down, at which point you will feel something — and that feeling is the actual service being provided here.
What it does
Shows a number next to your name, in public, in order. Your link is clickable. That is the entire feature set and it is finished.
Why it exists
Because the internet ranks everything by engagement, cleverness or luck, and none of those are honest. Money is honest. Money is a scoreboard that admits what it is.
What it isn't
An investment. A growth channel. A community. A utility of any kind. Nobody here is pretending otherwise, which is more than most websites can say.
