The fine print
How the money works
There is exactly one mechanic on this website and it is your credit card. Still, mechanics have rules, so here they are in full β read them before you spend, not after.
Whole dollars, nothing cuter
Every bid is a whole number of US dollars. No cents, no decimals, no clever fractions. A brand new spot starts at $5, and the ceiling is $999,999 β past that you should probably buy something real.
Rank is money. That is the whole algorithm.
The biggest number sits at #1 and everything else falls in line underneath it. There is no engagement score, no quality signal, no reason at all beyond the amount next to your name.
If two people land on the exact same amount, the one who got there first stays higher. Being early is worth something; being late costs a dollar.
What somebody elseβs spot costs
Taking #1 costs the current top bid plus $5. Nothing in between counts β you cannot squeeze past the leader for a dollar.
Every other rank costs that rankβs amount plus $1. See a spot you like, pay a dollar more than the person sitting in it, and it is yours.
You do not have to win to be here
Paying less than #1 is completely allowed and mildly dignified. Your money lands you exactly as high as it reaches and not one rank higher.
Plenty of people are here to be seen, not to be first. The board does not judge. The board only counts.
Raising your own bid
Enter the same link again and it is treated as a raise, not a second listing. The minimum raise is $1, and you are only charged the difference between what you already paid and where you are going.
Nobody can take your rank by matching your amount β they have to beat it. Your money keeps working after you stop paying attention.
Your link is your identity
Any link works: your site, your X profile, your app store page, that one blog post you are still proud of. We do not care where it points as long as it is not on the list below.
Tracking junk gets stripped off before we save it, and shorteners get resolved to whatever they actually point at β so the link you show is the link people land on, and raises still recognize you.
What gets you removed
Adult or NSFW links. Anything illegal. Hateful or racist display names and messages. All of it comes down, and no, there is no refund β you paid for a rank on a leaderboard, not for immunity.
This is the only editorial judgment on the entire site. Everything else really is just money.
The payment is the bid
Nothing is reserved while you are staring at the checkout page. A bid exists the moment the payment completes, and not a second earlier.
Prices move in the meantime, because other people are also busy proving things. Your money lands wherever it ranks at the instant it clears β which may be a spot lower than the one you were eyeing. Aim high.
That is everything. There is no tier list, no verification, no blue check.
Just a number, your name, and the quiet knowledge that somebody can always pay more.
